How to Become a More Organised Blogger
Sometimes we all need a little help and motivation to keep organised, especially when it comes to being a blogger. Quite often things can get a little overwhelming and just seem a bit all over the place then stress can easily take over, trust me I’v been there. But blogging is meant to be fun and we are supposed to enjoy it aren’t we?
Now, I’m not going to act like I’m the most organised blogger what so ever, because I’m definitely not, but over the past few weeks, with the help of a few things, I’v become so much more organised and happier when blogging and it’s also really helped me to create better content overall. So I’m going to share with you these amazing ‘tools’ that have really helped me and could also help you. [plus they’re beautiful & just look amazing on your desk..]
Plan your blog posts with Paper Chic Co
A few weeks ago I received this beautifully designed desk pad from the lovely Claudia at Paper Chic Co and it has completely changed the way I plan my posts. Before I was trying to plan by scribbling things down in too many different notes books that were scattered all over the place, never understanding anything when it came to reading back on it, but now, I never forget points I want to make, texts I might have used, tags I need to include or social medias I need to share on, because everything you might need is included on this pad. It’s honestly genius!
There is also another completely different design which is just as beautiful. You can grab yourself this beautiful planner online here or download the printable through Claudia’s Etsy shop here [do it, you know you need it!]
Write everything down with Busy B
Towards the end of last month, I received this gorgeous desk pad & sticky note set from the amazing Jennifer at Busy B. I’ve been using both of these for a little while now, and they’ve helped me so much. I’ve literally used this for everything, and I mean everything.
Because the desk pad [available here] is designed to be kept on your desk [and be the perfect mouse mat] it is always there when you need it. Its like a pretty blank canvas where you’re free to write whatever you need, so while I’m sat planning away or typing up a post, anything I need to note down to look back on goes straight on this pad. Plus the little list section at the side, it tears off! So you take your lists with you wherever you go!
I have been using the floral sticky notes [available here] to remember the most important things that I need to do, it’s so easy to jot something down & stick it on your computer screen. A brill, no fuss reminder. Plus they are just beautiful aren’t they?!
Stay happy & organised with The Happiness Planner
Quite recently I received a very exciting box through the post from Mo, founder of The Happiness Planner, that included quite a lot of goodies that are perfect for this post. Like I’ve mentioned before, I want my blogging experience to be enjoyable, make me happy not stressed. So what would be perfect to keep me organised & happy? The 100 Day Happiness Planner.
I’ve only recently started using this, but I already know that it’s going to work. I have enjoyed planning my weeks and what I’m going to write about so much more already because of this planner. Everything gets put into perspective, you realise what you need to do to achieve your goals and your reminded of that everyday when you open your planner. There’s pages to figure out what makes you happy so you can spend more time doing that, there’s pages to realise your strengths and weaknesses to encourage you to work on them, and of course beautiful quotes everyday to keep you motivated “The best investment you’ll ever make is in yourself. Never stop exploring, learning, experiencing, and becoming a better person everyday.” – Mo Seetubtim. The planner is absolutely beautiful and set out in the best way it can be to help you achieve happiness as well as keep your life organised. [Grab yours here]
The Notes About My Life pad is another free to write anything desk pad that I adore. Since I have one in my work space, I’v been keeping this one at the side of my bed and scribbling everything down that I don’t want to forget. It’s so useful and looks beautiful. [Grab yours here]
The Change a Habit in 30 Days pad is something I’v never actually seen before, but I can’t wait to get stuck into it. It can be used by anyone, for anything, but I can see this being perfect for bloggers because, come on, we all have habits that we need to change or improve and what’s better than using this gorgeous pad to encourage you? It includes 30 days to mark off as you go, space to explain how your feeling & a section to note down your happiness score. [Grab yours here] [Printables]
The Write Your Own Story Pencils are the most amazing pencils I’ve ever seen! Everyone needs these in their office[seriously]. The set includes 10 different coloured pencils each with their own motivational quote, my fave of course being ‘follow your dreams‘ which I live by and its pink! Perfect for that boost of motivation on a hard day in the office. Plus if you’re a bit of a perfectionist like me, it’s so much better to write in pencil, especially pretty pencils. [Grab yours here]
Have you used any of these? What helps you to stay organised as a blogger?
