Makeup Revolution 144 Ultimate Iconic Collection
This month, Makeup Revolution released there 144 Ultimate Iconic Collection Palette, and since I absolutely love the 144 2016 collection, how could I not buy this gorgeous new one too? Especially when it only costs £10! Now, I know I have way more eyeshadows than I need, especially now I have 2 144 palettes, but a girl can never have too many eyeshadows, can she?
Compared to the 2016 Collection palette, this palette is much smaller in size, the shadows are square, which does mean that you don’t get as much product, but it is a lot more travel friendly as it’s pretty thin and not actually that big, kinda.
The range of colours in this palette includes all our favourite iconic shades, from light to dark, with matte, satin, shimmer & glitter finishes, perfect for any look you want to create. If your wanting a huge mix of bright colours, the MUR 2016 palette is a better option, but if your wanting to own every nude shade possible with a few random colours, this palette is for you.
The shades in this palette are:
A few whites & silvers, matte, shimmer & glitter, perfect for highlighting.
Every cream, nude possible, with every type of finish.
Browns, ranging from light to dark with all finishes.
Golds, golds & golds. Soo many different golds, from yellows, oranges, bronzes & rose and they are all beautiful.
A few light pinks/pink under toned shades & quite a few dark pinks.
Darker silvers, greys & blacks, again with all finishes.
Even a couple of blues & purples included
& since I’m such a nice person, I went through and swatched every single one of the 144 shadows in this palette for you all! The swatches are in order of the rows.
As you can see, quite a few of the lighter shades are a lot less pigmented, especially in the first 3 rows, but when they’re applied to the lid, they look totally different than they do on my funny coloured arm, plus the sun was not on my side at all when these swatches were done (sorry) A damp brush also really helps to emphasise the colour. The satin shimmers are not showing up great on the photos either, but when held in the right light, most of them are actually my favourites.
Every single shade has got amazing staying power & they’re all really soft & blendable with just a few exceptions but for just £10, overall, this palette is so worth it. The colours in this palette are really easy to use, they are all so pretty & I think there’s only a few that I probably won’t use. I love this palette!
What do you think of this palette?
