Whenever we get the writers block, one of the first things we do to get a bit of inspiration is to search through every ‘blog post idea’ post there is, and sometimes, the inspiration still doesn’t come and the ideas can be a little vague. Well I decided to share 4 post ideas with a little bit more detail than usual to hopefully ignite some inspiration.
Normally when I share blog post ideas, I just list the basics to hopefully inspire you to come up with a few post ideas, but not today, I’m going to basically hand you some ideas, on a plate (hopefully) ‘cos, sharings caring, right?
1. A ‘Look‘
You can go as for as you’d like with this idea, or you can just keep it simple. You could share your everyday look, or a special occasion look, with the products you’ve used. You could even ‘mini’ review the products that you use for each look, or do a full on tutorial on how you achieved it. Another way you could turn this idea into a post is to set yourself a challenge. You could change your makeup products/look everyday and record it for each post that you plan to do. You could spread it out and review each product you use daily in separate posts too.
2. A ‘What’s in my‘
Let’s all admit this straight away, we are all nosey people, we want to see what’s in your bag! But instead of just sticking to your bag, you could share what’s in your shower, tell us what your favourite products to use in the shower are. You could tell us what’s in your beauty collection, what’s on your vanity or in your bedside drawers, go all out and share what’s in your room! (again, you can even turn these into different posts & review some products or create challenges)
We don’t have to stick to the basic review, we can do all sorts when writing a post to review a product. I’m always ‘quick’ reviewing in my posts, and you probably are too, but the posts aren’t necessarily reviews. You can share your favourite products from a certain brand and mini review each product, you can do a haul and review the products too, there’s so many different things you can do to share these amazing (or not so amazing) products with your readers. But that’s not all, you can turn a review around by just changing the title, which can draw more readers in – I reviewed the Maybelline Master Contour but I called my post ‘Quick & Easy Contour‘. Have a think about it, I’m sure you’ll come up with some ideas!
4. ‘How to’s & Tips‘
These type of posts can be anything at all. If you think about it, I’m sure you’ll think of something that you’re pretty good at and share your tips, even if there’s a million posts out there, your’s could be the best! You could do an in depth post on ‘how to’ make something, bake something, or do a certain makeup technique. You can share simple makeup tips, things that you’ve learnt yourself. Share how you do something, maybe you do it a different way to everyone else. Endless possibilities.
There’s so many more simple ideas that you can make your own, take an idea and change it! I hope these details have inspired you in some way!
