I’ve finally managed to tick a few products off my ever growing wishlist this month. I’ve wanted to try a few things from Colourpop for as long as I can remember but I couldn’t justify paying the price for shipping for just a couple of things that I wanted. Until, I was having a nosey and spotted that they had an offer on for some liquid lipsticks that just looked beautiful. So I went ahead and added everything off my wishlist (and a few more things for good measure) to my basket, selected the free liquid lipsticks, but unfortunately there was a bit of a problem, and long story short, the website wouldn’t load, I got in touch with ColourPop, sorted it out and by the time I could purchase they had free international delivery!
I’ve made my way through everything I received, and here’s my first impressions. (I’d just like to mention, there’s quite a difference from the sites pictures to the actual products incase you’re planning on making an order, they all seem a lot darker)
Ultra Matte Lips
The liquid lipsticks was what I was most excited to try and oh. my. god. They are beautiful! The formula is amazing, (I know I say that a lot but seriously) and so easy to apply, they’re extremely pigmented which means only one thin coat is needed making them really easy to wear. They last all day, except for when eating, which i expected, they start to fade a bit on the inner side of the lip. It’s better to removed it all completely before reapplying too because they start to cake up a bit with a second coat.
I picked up 6 different shades from plums to nudes, which are perfect for this time of the year. Each colour is absolutely gorgeous.
Notion is the darkest shade that I received, which is described as a violet red. I’d say there’s a little bit of red but not much really, it’s much more of a dark plum.
Love Bug is a beautiful terracotta colour with a bit of a purple undertone & Viper is a mix between red & purple with a strong pink undertone.
Times Square is the final shade that I received from the ColourPop offer. It’s a beautiful darkish mauve shade.
Midi is one that has been at the top of my wish list forever so it was the first thing in my basket! It’s a gorgeous nude with a lovely pink undertone to it.
Trap was the final shade that I chose, a gorgeous dusty lilac grey shade with a brown/beige hint to it. Perfectly stunning for the Autumn Winter months.

Super Shock Shadows
I couldn’t make a ColourPop order without grabbing their undeniably beautiful Super Shock Shadows could I? They are honestly, nothing like anything I’ve used before. The pigmentation is amazing, you only need to apply the tiniest bit and they blend out so nicely and last all day without a single smudge. The consistency of these shadows is so hard to explain, they’re unbelievably creamy, and they almost feel spongy.
All together I picked up 4 shades, the first being Hanky Panky, a stunning mauve shade, which looks amazing with Tang, a burnt looking mauve, both are matte finishes. I also ordered a satin finish, in the colour Wattles, a dusty pink beige with just the right amount of shimmer. The final shadow that I picked up was one from the Ultra Metallic range, in the colour LaLa, a beautiful dark rose gold that I am currently obsessed with.
These final 3 things that I ordered have been on my wishlist for so long & I could not wait to get my hands on a ColourPop highlighter because I’ve heard so much about them. The colour I chose was Might Be and it’s stunning. It’s so natural looking and can be worn so easily. I also picked up a Blusher, because, why not? I chose the colour Birthday Suit, which is a satin like finish that feels just like the Super Shock Shadows, it leaves a gorgeous blush on the skin and feels soo silky
The final thing that I order was the brow pomade, in the colour Dope Taupe. I normally like to stick to my powder brow filler, but I thought I might as well give it a go & I love it! I expected it to be a little dark, but it’s perfect. It applies really easily and lasts all day with no smudging at all.
