L’Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Luminiser

L’Oreal Elvive is one of my favourite hair care ranges out there. My go-to shampoo and conditioner has been the Extraordinary Clay Range ever since it came out. Recently, my mum mentioned to me that she’d been using the Nutri Gloss Luminiser shampoo & conditioner and she’s noticed how much of a difference it has made to her hair, I just knew I had to give it a go.

The Nutri Gloss packaging is basically the same as all the other shampoos and conditioners in the L’Oreal Elvive ranges, except this bottle is a very beautiful pink. The set is available in 2 sizes, 250ml which is more travel friendly and a 400ml so you can save and get more. Both the shampoo and conditioner is enriched with Glycogel, to create a weightless shine for up to 48 hours.

At first my thoughts were ‘What if it makes my hair too shiny? To the point that it looks greasy?’ But, I saw how well it worked for my mum and decided to give it a go anyway.

After using it for about 3 weeks I can say I love it. The smell is also beautiful, I’ve even been asked what I’ve used to wash my hair!

Both are very thick and creamy, but they do feel a lot lighter when being massaged into the hair. The shampoo lathers up really well and feels like it’s getting right down to the roots, the conditioner spreads well it doesn’t feel like it’s all bunched in one place. They also rinse out really well without clinging to your hair.

The results after washing off the conditioner was what I’d expected. My hair felt really soft – no softer than usual though, which could be down to the quality of my normal conditioner or my intensive treatments. My hair did though, feel a lot fresher, more healthier than usual. It’s easy to style after use, without the hair feeling too heavy or too light and it definitely looked more shiny.

I was very impressed overall, I’d say it’s perfect if your hair just seems to have lost it’s shine to give it a boost. Now though, I have the struggle of which to use whenever I wash my hair!

Have you tried the L’Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss?

This is one of my current shampoo/conditioner combos! I always have two on the go – at the moment the other pair is the Aussie Miracle Shine duo. If you love these L’Oreal ones I’m sure you’d like them too ☺️ xxx

Oooh I like the sounds of this. I’m always down to try new shampoos and conditioners. I like to switch it up every month or every time I run out of whatever one I’m using. I generally like the L’Oréal products- have you tried L’Oréal total repairs? Also a good one!

Thanks for sharing! Lovely post. I have to try this, shine is something my hair is seriously lacking, even though it’s healthy so I will have to keep a lookout!
