Current Mascara Cocktail | November

Like I mentioned in my first mascara cocktail post around 2 months ago, I rarely use just 1 mascara, I found that using multiple mascara’s has really good benefits [which I’ve shared here] and now I find it so hard to go back to using just one. I’ll usually use around 2 everyday, swapping a couple of others around occasionally in a kind of rotation, currently I have 4 favourites that I’ve been using over the past few weeks.

I quickly mentioned in my last posts that using 3-4 mascaras does not clump your lashes, do not worry, I am not walking round with spider legs for lashes, my amazing Avon True Colour Supershock mascara saves me from that [and a few little tricks that I have shared here] – which brings me to the mascara that will never, ever leave my mascara cocktail and I am 100% sure now that you are all sick of me talking about it but seriously, it keeps your lashes perfectly separated like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I urge you all to go and try it and report back to me with your thoughts!

Another mascara that is still in my mascara cocktail is the Maybelline Lash Sensational, simply for the amazing curl that it gives. I use this mascara straight after separating my lashes with the Supershock to set my lashes to curl and that’s it, I’ll then go in with my favourites for length and volume.

The Rimmel Scandaleyes Reloaded is what I reach for next without a doubt. Since buying this mascara I’ve been obsessed. This is my go to for full on volume with no clumps. Without going into much detail, since I have a full review here, the brush is perfect, each bristle hugs your lashes and coats then with the perfect amount of mascara to give them an amazing boost of volume without the fake or spider leg look.

A brand new addition to my collection is the L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes [review will be up soon] This is another mascara that I adore for adding volume. Normally I hate these type of mascaras, ones with plastic wands that feel like you’re going to scratch your eyes out but since I get on so well with the Lash Sensational I gave it a try anyway and I love it. It really thickens up your lashes and adds a good amount of length too. Perfect to finish off any look.
