Beauty Tips For Busy Days
For them days when we know we’re going to be busy we need to change our routine a little. It could be that you’re up extra early and have to rush a bit [these 10 minute makeup tips can also really help] or that you’re going to be none stop all day and won’t have any time to top up your makeup. I’ve got a few little tips, things to remember, or what I’d recommend for those types of days.
Firstly, make sure your prepared for the early morning, get everything you need the night before, may seem simple, but there’s nothing worse than loosing your eyebrow brush when you have 5 minutes till you need to leave the house.
This tip is the most obvious – You have to use makeup that really lasts. I can’t explain how important primer is for busy days. An affordable primer that works really well to keep your makeup in place is the Maybelline Baby Skin but your foundation also needs to last really well too. I have quite a few long lasting favourites, but I’ve found when teaming any with the Younique Mineral Touch Pressed Powder, they all last, all day. With concealer, don’t go all out, keep it simple with a bit under the eyes and where you feel you need it.
Even when we are in a rush, we still need to add a bit of colour to our face and you can even do a bit of contour if you use the right product. I’ve found that the Maybelline Master Contour is perfect to apply some contour fast without having to blend it out for ages. Then a bit of simple blush and a dab of bronzer.
If you’re like me and sometimes still want a bit of eyeshadow on, I strongly recommend the Colour Pops SuperShock Shadows or the Maybelline Colour Tattoos. They both apply and blend so easily, it’ll only take a few seconds to apply. Use an easy mascara to add a bit of length, volume and curl, I obviously recommend Avons Super Shock but there are so many simple mascaras that don’t need any effort to create a beautiful look.
For brows, keep it simple. Use what you know works for you, or for quick application, add a bit more colour with a simple pencil then set them with Benefits Ready, Set, Brow which keeps them in places all day. Dab a bit of highlight on your cheek bones, cupids bow and nose, add a bit of lipstick, spritz with some setting spray and you’re good to go.
