Revolution Ultimate Blush, Light and Contour Palette
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know how obsessed with the the Revolution Ultimate Palettes, I just can’t seem to help myself when a new one is released. A while ago when all the Christmas gifts hit the shops, I spotted the Revolution Ultimate Blush, Light and Contour Palette at Superdrug for only £10 I just had to get it. I’m quite a fan of Makeup Revolution anyway, yeah, some of their products can be a bit hit & miss, I can’t fault it too much for the prices, and their eyeshadows are pretty good, not the best ever obviously, but good enough for me to reach for it often. I already own one of their blush palettes and I was quite impressed with it, so of course I had to give their huge 32 blush, light and contour palette.
The palette contains 32 highlight, strobe, blush and contour shades altogether. 8 highly pigmented highlight shades, 16, matte and shimmery, blush shades with mixes of pinks, corals and browns and 8 contour/bronze shades, 3 shimmery 5 matte, ranging from lights to darks, perfect for everyone.
The palette is of course huge, weighing 85g making it not all that good for traveling, but it’s amazing for only £10. The palette comes with a pink cardboard outer casing, and the palette itself is plastic, with a clear top to see each shade. Doesn’t feel all that sturdy, but it’ll do.
The powders themselves, aren’t all that creamy, but they are really blendable and easy to apply, there’s quite a bit of fall out but it’s easy to work with as long as you tap off the excess first. The whole palette is extremely pigmented and less is definitely more when applying. It’s also really long lasting, and doesn’t seem to wear off at all during the day, especially the highlight shade. Overall I love it, I know I’m going to get a whole lot of use out of it, it’s a beautiful palette that holds everything you’d want for the ultimate cheek palette.
Row 1 Highlisters | Row 2 & 3 Blush | Row 4 Contour.
I’ve swatched all 32 shades for you
The palette is part of their christmas range, which is limited edition so get your hands on it quick. It’s a great gift idea for any beauty lover and I recommend it to everyone even if it’s not the best, it’s definitely amazing quality for just £10.
