It’s officially December and I am so excited! December is by far my favourite month ever, the festive atmosphere always makes me happy, but a month has just past, which means I have a few things to share that I have been loving lately.
NYX Lip Lingerie
Liquid lipsticks have been my go to for quite a while now, I’ve been completely obsessed with them. The one that I have used the most over the last month is the NYX Lip Lingerie in the colour Lace Detail 03. I’ve been going quite heavy on the eye colour a lot so I’ve needed to use quite a light nude and this one has been perfect.
Revolution Ultimate Blush, Light and Contour Palette.
I’m a big fan of the Revolution Ultimate Palettes, as soon as they release a new on, I have to get my hands on it. The beginning of last month I picked up the gorgeous Ultimate Blush, Light & Contour Palette and I’ve reached for it so much. Although I’m completely smitten with my Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette, I’ve also been loving this. It’s got all the colours, for every look that you’d need in this one palette, it’s amazing. I shared a full review and swatched all 32 shades here.
When the really cold snowy weather hits, my go to colour is pink. I’ve mentioned before that dark nails just don’t suit that much so I always go for a lighter colour. The colour that I’ve used the most over that past month is Perfectly Flesh which is a beautiful pale pink with a hint of nude and a tiny bit of shimmer, perfect for this time of the year.
L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes
If you saw my review, you will know how much I am loving this mascara. I can’t even explain how good it is. I quite often love every mascara that I try, but at the moment, this beats most of them. As the name suggests, it completely doubles your lashes giving them so much volume. It’s also so easy to use and only needs 2 layers to get a full fanned out look.
L.A Girl HD Pro Concealer
I’d seen so many people recommend this concealer that I couldn’t help but try it. It instantly became one of my favourites and I reach for it every single day. It’s true what they say about the coverage, it really does cover anything. It’s also available in a really light colour so it’s perfect for highlighting. I definitely recommend it!.
This month I have 3 books to share with you. I’ve always been a lover of thrillers and mysteries, and when I read The Girl On The Train, it made me realise how much I miss reading them so I managed to make my way through 3.
This first book that I read was Bone Cold by Erica Spindler, who I am now completely obsessed with and I’ve bought nearly all of her books because I could not put this one down! Without ruining the story, 23 years ago, Anna was kidnapped but managed to escape and the kidnapper seemed to disappear, until weird things start to happen and it seems he may be back to get her. But that is not all there’s so much more too it & this story is nothing like I expected, especially the twist at the end
The next book that I read was I Heard That Song Before by Mary Higgins Clark – which I’ve got to admit, I didn’t enjoy as much as Bone Cold but I did really like it and I couldn’t put it down either so it must have been good.. There’s a bit of a slow start, but after a bit, you feel like you need to keep reading and find out what happened. I’m not going to explain it much because everything will give it away, but it’s about a woman who marries a man that could be a murderer, you follow the lives of everyone involved until the truth comes out. It’s honestly such a good read.
My final read of the month was Copycat by none other than the amazing writer Erica Spindler. This story is a bit different from Bone Cold, but just as good. This story follows 2 detective that don’t really see eye to eye but they need to work together to find the horrific murderer and his copycat before anymore little girls get killed. It was unbelievably gripping and so easy to visualize, I can’t wait to get stuck into the next book of this series!
