I’ve not had a chilled out weekend in what feels like forever. For the past few months I’ve been cramming everything I can in to 2 days that feel like they’re over in just a few minutes, so, I plan to have a very chilled out weekend soon where I’m going to sit on my ass and do all my favourite things and not feel guilty about it. I have 5 things that are complete must haves to make the perfect weekend.
TV // Catching up on everything I am behind on due to being so busy is at the top of my list, I plan to be the laziest person alive. Plus TV is just a great way to occupy yourself and escape for a little while so what’s better? I’ve finally been able to watch a few 13 Reasons Why too so I’ll probably finish that off.
A good book // If you haven’t noticed, all I seem to do lately is read, I actually don’t know how I find the time for it but I plan to do it even more on my very chilled weekend. There is nothing better than snuggling up on the settee with a good book and disappearing into that world for a little while.
Food // Amazing food is obviously something that I need to include of course and I don’t even need to explain myself here.
A long soak // Having a beautiful long soak in a really hot bath with a bit of Ed Sheeran playing is the best thing ever, chuck a bath bomb in there & a face mask and my day is made.
Blankets // I’ve got to admit, this is a 24/7 thing for me, it’s kind of a comfort thing, I can never get truly comfortable without a blanket wrapped around me, I even have one in the summer, but, there a must aren’t they? You simply can’t have a chilled weekend without a blanket.
