April Favourites // 2017
I am very happy to see the back of April if I’m honest, it’s been a stressful month yet again, but I am really looking forward to May. It’s my birthday very soon and we’ve got loads of plans so I’m feeling quite happy about May, lets just hope the weathers nice. Anyway, back to the monthly favourites, I’ve not loved all that many new things this month tbh, I’ve actually managed to stick to my spending ban too although there’s quite a few things in the shops calling my name and creating my bedroom wishlist last week was like torture, I’ve not got long to go on this ban though and then it’ll just be a case of trying to save a bit each week, thank god. But here’s a few things that I’ve loved throughout April.
Rimmel Shake Mascara // If you saw my review, of course you’ll know I’ve been really enjoying this mascara and you’ll probably see it crop up a few more times here on Jessica Jade. I didn’t expect to love it as much as it turns out I do, I’ve reached for it every single day. It’s a beautiful mascara and the ‘shake’ invention really does work, it’s not dried up in the slightest over the last month.
The Body Shop, Pink Grapefruit Body Mist // I am a sucker for anything grapefruit so of course I own a body spray. It’s been hidden away throughout winter but it’s back out now and is currently taking pride of place. I absolutely love the smell of it, every time I walk past it I just have to spray a bit and I’ve covered all my clothes in my wardrobe with it too and every time I do I want to eat a grapefruit so I guess it’s quite healthy too.
Barry M Nail Polishes // I can’t actually choose a colour so I’ve decided to just include them all, although pink’s probably my favourite I’ve used them all and loved them all. Instead of me rambling on about them, here’s a whole post dedicated to how perfect they are for Spring.
Aveeno Moisturiser // This is actually a favourite all year round. I use it every morning and night without fail but, it’s been a lifesaver this month. I don’t know why, but sometimes I randomly break out in really bad patches of dry skin that get so sore and the only thing that helps is this gorgeous moisturiser. I literally recommend it to everyone that I see, it’s amazing.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo, Permanent Taupe & Creme De Rose // I was in quite a rush most of last month so speedy makeup was a must and the Maybelline Colour Tattoos have been perfect. I’d completely forgot I’d even got these until I needed them and they’re all I’ve used since. Both colours are gorgeous and so easy to wear, no messing about with them either. Absolutely love ’em.
