Current Mascara Cocktail // May

My mascara cocktail hasn’t actually changed that much since January, or since before Christmas actually, but I do like to keep you all updated with the mascara’s that I’m currently loving and there has been a new addition too so here’s my current mascara cocktail for May.

Avon Supershock Mascara //
You are probably sick to death of hearing me ramble on about this mascara but I think if I didn’t mention it you’ll all wonder why haha and if you’re new around here, this mascara is the best mascara in the world, seriously. The brush has like a million little bristles (I’m not even exaggerating) that fit in between each lash to keep them separated and it works perfectly. It really lasts too, all day, no flaking or fading and it’s not even hard to remove. It’s just amazing.

Rimmel Volume Shake //
This mascara is the latest to my mascara cocktail, I think I’ve been using it just over a month and it’s as fresh as the day I bought it. According to Rimmel, that is because of their new little invention, I say little, it’s not little at all, it adds quite a lot of weight, but, that doesn’t make a difference. If I could have this ‘shake’ system put in all my mascaras, I’d be very happy. It definitely works, I was a little sceptical at first but I can assure you 100% it works. The brush is amazing too, I absolutely love it, full on packed with bristles just how I like it and it adds volume like nothing I’ve ever used before. I much prefer it in a cocktail rather than on it’s own too, it can be quite clumpy when it’s used on it’s own, but once I’ve ran the Supershock brush through my lashes a few times it’s easily fixed and looks amazing again.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious //
Normal, the original Lash Sensational would be here, but I ran out a couple of weeks ago and haven’t repurchased it just yet, I thought I best use a couple of my other mascara’s before buying it again so I decided on Lash Sensational Luscious. I actually compared the two here if you want to find out which I think’s the best. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d like this mascara at all when I first got it because the brush is so different to the original but I actually loved it, I love the way that the wand tapers, it makes it so easy to apply in the corners or your eyes and even perfect for the bottom lashes.

So when do you wear the last one? How many coats of mascara in total do you apply? I need to try that one.

I use them all together sometimes, not everyday though I kinda mix them all the time & not sure really probably 6-7 but only thin coats because the Supershock brush takes away any excess anyway xx

Never tried using two mascaras at once. The Avon mascara sounds interesting. I use the Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious and I love it! The brush is great for the corner and bottom lashes.

You should try using 2, it makes such a difference! I never feel like my lashes are done when I only use one now haha. The wand is perfect isn’t it! Xxx
