I absolutely smashed my to-do list last month, it was pretty easy to be honest, I hadn’t set myself ‘goals’ really because I knew I’d have such a busy month, I just shared my plans more than anything. We made it to the zoo finally and I had an amazing time, it’s definitely one of the biggest zoo’s I’ve been to, although my feet throbbed for about 4 days after because the zoo is absolutely huge, amazing though & I saw so many animals that I’d not seen before! We also took a trip to the seaside and had a great day, the sun even come out! We had a stroll down the beach, had a chippy and an ice cream and spent too much money on the 2p machines, it was perfect. I also read 6 books! There was a lot of road tripping going on so I had quite a lot of time to read, plus, the last 4 books that I’ve read were so good that I didn’t put them down. I’ve got a lot more things that I need to get done this month, rather than just fun things so here’s my June To-Do List.
June To-Do List
Finish my fairy cross stitch // I got a few new ones for my birthday last month so it’s pushed me to get the ones I have started finished and I’ve been spending most evenings with it in my hand and I’m really enjoying it again, finally, it’s been about a year since I last did my fairy one, it was meant to be a Christmas present for my grandma, 2 years ago…. Hopefully it’ll be done this Christmas.
Sort the garden out // Gardening is another thing I got from my grandma, when I was younger I’d help her tend her amazing, massive, garden every week, so it’s kind of stuck with me. My garden needs a bit of love at the moment, and we’ve recently done a flower haul so I need to get it all sorted and get them all planted as soon as possible so hopefully the rain will go away so I can get on with it.
Have a BBQ // The sun was out quite a lot in May so I’m really hoping it will come out for June too to give me the chance to have a family BBQ. Every time the sun was out in May I, or everyone else was busy and I basically missed every chance but I haven’t had a proper BBQ since last summer and I am in serious need of one.
Make lemonade and orange juice // I’ve already bought the lemons and the oranges and now all I need to do it make some. I’ve never made them fresh before and it really bothers me so I need to do it. I adore lemons, I’ve got a sour/bitter tooth rather than a sweet one and my mouth is watering just thinking about making lemonade.
Bake something // I haven’t baked anything in so long now and I’ve been craving my mums brownies, again, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I want to try a new recipe too, making something I’ve never made before so send your recipes my way please.
