The start of June was going great, I was getting through my fairy cross stitch like there was no tomorrow, I was excited to get on with all the things that I’d planned, but half way through, as you’ll know if you follow me on Instagram, life got a little hectic. I don’t want to go into detail about any of it, but I’m hoping everything will be okay soon. That means I didn’t get much done last month, the only thing I did finish was the garden, which if I do say so myself looks pretty good right now, except it’s raining as I’m writing this so.. Anyway, I’m planning a few things for July that I’m hoping I’ll have the time to do, I don’t want to set myself unrealistic goals this month so I’ve just made a list of fun things that I’d like to do instead.
Spend more time outside // When the UK had the heat wave, I practically missed half of it being stuck inside with a screen in front of my face, I had and still have a lot of work to catch up on so I’m hoping it will all be done by the time the sun comes back out so I can spend some well deserved time just relaxing in the sun.
Take a trip to the seaside // Now that Summer is in full swing, I think it’s about time we took another trip to the beach, we go every single year without fail, but last year, we ended up going a bit too late and it was no where near as good as it is when summers at it’s peak so I need to make sure I go this month, or next I suppose but if we have the time we will definitely be going.
Visit a market // I haven’t been to a proper market since I was about 16 and the closest one to us closed down but I’ve been on the hunt to find one that’s close by so we can spend the whole day walking around the stalls in the sunshine
Tick of 5 things from my 101 in 1001 // I’m really slacking with my 101 in 1001 at the moment but I’ve got some really fun things on there that I want to do so hopefully I’ll be able to make some time to tick some of them off.
Bake something // I was really looking forward to getting back into baking last month, I even have a list of recipes but I either didn’t have the time or forgot the list whenever I went shopping and remembered when I got to the baking aisle, so this month I am really hoping I wont forget my list and I’ll get the chance to make something sweet.
What have you got planned for July?
