I am currently on a budget, a bloody budget that I feel like I’ve been on forever and I am slowly but surely going mad (we’re trying to save as much as we can since it’s like impossible to buy a house nowa’days). All these brand new beauty releases are killing me, but I am coping & that’s because I’m a bit of a bargain hunter, and it’s made life so much easier. I manage to find some amazing bargains and I have 5 beauty bargains to share with you today.
Maybelline Master Contour Duo Stick | Okay, I know, I mention this a lot. But, that’s because it is honestly one of the best contour products I’ve tried for under £8. The light shade, which I use, is literally the perfect colour for a contour, there’s the perfect amount of grey tone to it. It’s also one of the easiest to blend too, you can blend it to what ever shade you prefer and it will work. I don’t usually use cream highlights, I definitely prefer powder, but this one swayed my quite a bit. It’s got a gorgeous glowing shimmer to it, that I haven’t seen in many cream highlights that’s easy to blend
Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette | This is another product that I mention quite a lot because it quickly became a very firm favourite of mine, I literally cannot find a fault with it. It’s just under £7 usually and I’d definitely say you’re getting way more for your money. The contour in this palette is also the perfect colour for shading and the highlight is gorgeous, subtle but stunning, but the winner for me in this palette has got to be the blush, all the powders are creamy and easy to blend, but the colour of the blush is perfect, it’s one of my favourite colour blushes I’ve tried.
Freedom Duo Eyebrow Powder | I’m actually still a bit shocked that this palette is only £3, you definitely wouldn’t know it’s that good. There’s two shades in the compact, one for covering sparse areas and the other just to add a bit more to your natural brow, I think this is quite genius, it helps so much to make your brows look more natural. They have quite a nice range of colour choices too so they’re pretty suitable for everyone.
NYX Matte Lipstick | I am in love with these lipsticks, thinking about it, I’m still a bit shocked at myself for not owning more. The quality is so impressive, they last so well, if you’d not told me that these were £7 I would have definitely thought more. They’re also so comfortable to wear, not heavy or drying, and really pretty. The colour range is pretty amazing too, it took me quite a while to decide on one.
L’Oreal Miss Hippie | Instead of mentioning the mascara that I always mention, I thought it’s about time I started sharing more about the other amazing mascara’s that I adore. Another favourite of mine is the L’Oreal Miss Hippie, which is a massive steal at only £7.99. The brush is perfect with so many different benefits and the formula is just the right consistency so it’s so easy to use. It’s definitely a firm favourite of mine.
