5 Favourite Nude Liquid Lips For Autumn

At the beginning of Spring this year, I took myself out of my nude lip comfort zone and started wearing brighter colours, I did that well that I hardly ever wore a nude lip, until Avon launched their amazing new range and I slipped back into my comfort zone quite easily, [more on that later]. But now it’s officially Autumn, I’ve put away the bright colours,  and I can wear all my nude lip favourites to my hearts content. I have a very big nude lip collection, but I’ve picked out five that I think are perfect for Autumn.

NYX Lip Lingerie Baby Doll // You’ve probably seen me mention the NYX Lip Lingerie’s quite a few times before, but I couldn’t not include the gorgeous Baby Doll in this list. It was my go-to last year and it will definitely be this year too. The colour is absolutely perfect for me, subtle and soft, really easy for anyone to wear with whatever makeup look. It has a orange undertone rather than brown, so it’s quite light in colour, but no where near too light to wear and of course the quality of these liquid lipsticks s is undeniable, I couldn’t fault it in anyway.

Avon Mark. Lip Lacquer  Whipped Latte// This liquid lipstick is heaven, perfect in every way you could imagine. And if you saw my blog post about the new lip lacquer range, you’ll already know that I really cannot find a thing wrong with them. These are creamy liquid lipsticks, so they don’t dry fully once you’ve applied them, so they are definitely the most comfortable liquid lipstick to wear, they’re still 100% matter and they still have the pigment and staying power of a normal liquid lipstick. The name of this liquid lipstick describes the colour perfectly too, a soft milky coffee colour that has just the right amount of brown to make it a gorgeous nude.

Left to right – NYX Baby Doll,  Avon Whipped Latte, Colourpop Trap, DOSE Cork, L’Oreal Off White

Colourpop Liquid Lipstick Trap // Colourpop’s Trap is quite different from the nudes I usually go for, the swatch is a bit useless because it is much lighter in person and once it’s fully dried. it also has a very faint purple/grey tone to it that you can’t really see but I think it’s the best colour for this time of the year. I love the Colourpop Liquid Lipsticks, the quality is great and the pigment is perfect, but they can be a little drying so I don’t wear them that often because it can be a bit too much for my lips, but I have reached for this a lot more often than I thought I would when I first saw the colour.

DOSE Of Colours // I have searched everywhere to try and find the colour of this, but it’s not on the tube, & I doubt that it’s a copy because I got this from Beauty Bay a little while ago. Anyway I think, the colour is Cork, which is a gorgeous brown nude. It’s probably the darkest I’d go for with a nude because it’s quite unusual for me to go for such a dark brown but I love it and it’s definitely one colour that is perfect for everyone. The formula is also beautiful, they feel quite like the Lip Lingerie’s but a little bit dryer, not enough to be uncomfortable though. Very pigmented with amazing staying power.

L’Oreal Lip Paint Off White // The colour of L’Oreals Off White (still hate the name) is a lot like Colourpop’s Baby Doll, maybe just a little bit darker, but I had to include it because the formula is amazing. It’s another liquid lipstick that doesn’t fully dry, these types are quickly becoming my favourites because they are just so much easier to wear. You can reapply easily, you don’t have to worry about it cracking or building up and it lasts just as long. They are actually flawless.

Which ones your favourite?
