5 Current Favourites
Since I stopped doing my monthly favourite a while ago, the things that I’ve been loving have accumulated quite a bit so I thought it was about time I did a little update and shared 5 of the things that I am currently obsessed with.
Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette
I was obsessed with this palette this time last year and I knew that I’d be obsessed with it again this year because it is the most perfect palette for Autumn and the quality is just perfect. I have basically used this palette every day for the past 2 weeks or so, and I can see it being that way for quite a while. I’ve been loving doing a liner blend with Freshly Toasted and Substitute for love, it has quickly become my go to look.
Avon Mark. Lip Lacquer – Whipped Latte
I don’t think I could ever love another lipstick quite as much as I love this one. Everything about it, the formula, the colour, the packaging, is astonishing. I actually nearly had a meltdown last week when I thought I’d lost it, turned out it was in my coat pocket, that is literally how much I love this lipstick. The colour couldn’t be any more perfect for me either, it’s just the right shade, it goes with any look and it doesn’t wash you out at all. I could go on about them forever, but If you love a matte liquid lip, and can’t stand them drying then you need to try the Avon Lip Lacquers – seriously. There’s a review of Pinking About You here!
L’Oreal Paradise Extatic Mascara
I’ve not actually mentioned this mascara since I did my review last month, but I have been absolutely loving it. I am still in shock at how much volume this mascara can give you, and pretty good length too. You hardly need to apply any to get a massive boost of volume, and it’s really easy to add more coats if you want even more volume. It doesn’t flake or smudge which is a bit of a shock compared to the wet formula but it’s been amazing and it’s definitely made it’s way up there with some of my other favourites.
Sleek Contour Kit
I’ve been using loads of different contour products lately and one that I’ve not been able to stop using, again, is the Sleek Contour & Highlight kit. It’s an old favourite actually, I used to be obsessed with it sometime last year and it kind of gt forgotten about, but now that I’ve rediscovered it, I’ve fallen for it all over again. It’s a little overly pigmented, but it’s blendable so I can handle it, and the colour is perfect for my skin too, it does look a little too dark but it’s not at all. The highlight though, omg. Never have I ever tried such an amazing highlighter at such a cheap price, I remember being so shocked when I first tried it. It’s a versatile colour too so it’s suitable for everyone.
Colourpop Supershock Blush – Birthday Suit
You’ve probably seen me mention this beautiful blush a couple of times before, especially at this time last year, because I think it’s the perfect colour for the colder months – it’s a pink shade, but very neutral with a darkish undertone that adds gorgeous natural looking flush instead of a burst of colour. But it’s not just the colour I love, I also adore the formula. I don’t normally go for creme like blushers, I’m very powder orientated, but this one completely swayed me, it’s nothing like anything I’ve used before – it blends stunningly, it looks soft and natural and it last really well. It’s gorgeous.
