Jessica Jade Designs | Twenty Eighteen Yearly Planner
So, you might have noticed that there’s not been much added to Jessica Jade Designs for quite a while now, and that’s because I’ve been working on a lot lately, mainly this very exciting planner I’ve got to share with you today and a lot for next year too. Instead of rushing myself to get new designs up, I’ve decided to start working on designs for next year now so everything will be ready and everything will be perfect – there’s a lot in the pipeline, I can’t believe I’m managing to hold it all back to be honest, I’m very excited. But for now, I’ve got something else exciting to share and that is the brand new Twenty Eighteen Yearly Planner Pack!
I know from the moment that I started creating printables that I wanted to create ‘planner packs’ that can be printed in A5 to fit binder planners because, being a planning addict myself, I know how important it is to be able to find the perfect layouts that includes everything you need as well as it being a pretty design. This pack can be printed A4 too if you want to just keep certain pages at your desk or use it just clipped together, whichever suits you best. It took me a while to decide what design to go for, this planner is actually my third after changing my mind a couple of times and I’m finally happy with it. I finally decided to go for a minimalist soft copper rose gold kind of theme which I am in love with.
The planner contains 38 individual pages. There’s yearly, monthly, weekly and daily layouts available, the weekly and daily will need to be printed quite a few times of course, and there’s a few added pages just to help you keep as organised as possible, and these can also be printed as many times as needed too, which I definitely think is the best thing about printables. The monthly layouts are quite different from the usual type of yearly planners but I’ll go into more detail about that in a minute.
The first page of the planner is your basic 2018 calendar, easy for you to see the whole year and mark off any special dates, I’ve left just enough space at the bottom too for you to be able to create a colour chart just in case but if you’d rather not do that then the next page is perfect for you. The 2018 Dates To Remember Page is just the same as the monthly layout except you have lines instead of dates. This way you can write any specific, really important date for each month that you can go back and check on – I’ve found that using a few of these pages works pretty well because you can have one for birthdays, one for appointments and one just for to-do’s and again, if you need somewhere to keep more detailed notes on each month then the next three pages are even better. The 2018 At A Glance pages include each months calendar and a huge space to write down any notes as well as a little section a long the bottom for any birthdays that month.
The next pages are based on your goals for that year. I’ve made sure to include 6 boxes for your biggest goals of the year with little check boxes to tick off when you’ve completed it. There’s a section below to go into a little more detail about each goal and a completely separate box for notes and the next page is a full year layout just for you to keep track of each of your goals throughout the year.
I’ve also included a Brain Dump page that I know will come in very handy – everything and anything that is floating about your brain goes on this page and if something comes of any of them notes then you jot it down properly on the Big Ideas page. The Big Ideas pages has 5 areas for you to plan, you can keep 1 page to one idea and print more for other ideas or you can use each box to write notes about each idea. I made sure to include 3 blank boxes and 2 with lines so you can choose how to make your notes.
Then we have 2 two weekly plan designs – I wanted to offer one very basic weekly plan just in case you don’t really have a busy week and don’t have much to fill out, and I wanted to include a more detailed page too. So the simple plan just comes with the days of the week in boxes, there’s room to write whatever you want for the week but there’s nothing else included, whereas the detailed Weekly Plan offers a list for your prioritises for the week and a note section. The boxes on this page are a little smaller and the weekend is joined into one so using both the Weekly Plans together works quite well.
I have also created two style daily Today pages too – both are quite detailed with time slots – one from 6 in the morning up until 10 at night and one from 6 until 5, I did decide to leave this one blank though for you to fill out yourself just in case the hours you want to plan aren’t the norm. They both offer meal plans too and a water tracker for the day but they do differ in quite a lot of ways too. The Make It Count Today plan offers a clock for appointments, a check box to do list and a section for you to note down the housework where as the simpler planner only offers 3 boxes for priorities, a save for later box and space to jot down everything else. Just the same as the weekly plan, I wanted to keep one quite simple for less busy days and one quite detailed for very busy days and again, both can be used for different things.
As I mentioned earlier, the calendar layout is quite different from what you usually see in planners and that’s because I decided to include what I use on a daily basis. It’s a bullet journal design that I’ve just turned into a planner layout. The dates along with the letter of the day are lined down the left hand side of the page and each date has it’s own line for you to write your plans for that day – there’s not a lot of room but so far I haven’t had trouble using it because I’ve only ever needed to write down really important things. It’s easy to use too and look’s quite pretty when it’s all filled out. There’s also a rose gold cover page for every month too which makes it a lot easier to use in a binder planner.
So that’s it, that’s the Twenty Eighteen Yearly Planner! I’m so excited to finally say that it’s now available on Jessica Jade Designs and you can grab yours here!
