I can’t believe how long it’s been since I shared my current mascara cocktail, and when I realised I knew instantly that I needed to update you. I’ve been using quite a lot of mascara’s recently and I’ve been testing out a few for review too but I have three mains ones that I’ve been using together quite a lot.
I don’t suppose you’re shocked to see the amazing Supershock included in this post? Of course not, I don’t think I’ve ever shared a Mascara Cocktail without including the Avon Supershock and that’s because it is by far the best mascara I’ve ever used. It’s the brush that I adore the most, because it’s so big and so jam packed with tiny bristles, it completely separates all your lashes. It adds unreal length and curl and perfect volume. It’s easy to apply, easy to remove, literally everything about it is perfect. But the main reason that it’s always included in my mascara cocktails is because it works so well with other mascara’s. Say your other mascara’s quite clumpy but you love the length it gives you, you can use the Supershock to make sure your lashes stay separated! It’s just brilliant.
L’Oreal Paradise Extatic
You might already know that I’m obsessed with this mascara, I have mentioned it quite a few times recently on here and that’s because the volume this mascara gives you is unreal. I’m all about bold, feathery lashes so this mascara is perfect for me. It can be a bit clumpy so using the Supershock helps quite a lot but overall it’s gorgeous. It adds great curl too, it kind of reminds me of the Maybelline Lash Sensation, although the brushes couldn’t be further apart, but it works the same in terms of curl. It really pushes your lashes up and because it dries so nicely it holds too.
Rimmel Volume Colourist
This mascara is an old fave of mine, and I recently decided it was about time I repurchased it. I have unbelievably blonde lashes and it drives me insane, I always feel like wearing mascara just so you can actually see that I do have lashes, but when I’ve got this mascara I don’t have to worry about that because it tints them! and yes, it really does work – there’s a full review here if you’d like to know more – It’s pretty good at adding volume and length too. I only have one complaint about this mascara, and that’s how easily it comes off, I know it’s not waterproof, but there’s not much to it, my eye’s only have to water a bit and it starts to smudge, but overall, the positives outweigh the negatives and just the fact that it tints your lashes will always win me over.
