4 Daily Habits I Want To Pick Up Or Change

I’ve been reading a lot about habits lately, I’ve seen so many blog posts floating about and it’s really inspired me to start thinking about what habits I should try and pickup or at least change a bit, that will benefit me everyday. I’m also planning on starting a habit tracker to help me too. So I made out a huge list the other day and I’ve picked out four of them to share with you.

Daily exercise
I have actually gotten into this a few times before and then I always fall out of it again. I do really well when I do get into it, I even lost a bit of weight last time, but then something comes up, I end up with not enough time to fit it in my day and then it gets completely forgotten about, but I need to change that, and I need to make it a habit, something that I cannot help but do. I plan to try and fit this back in my life next week, I’ve been getting a lot of work done recently which will hopefully leave me with a bit of time each day to do it.

Stop procrastinating
Now this is going to be hard because my habit is actually procrastinating, an example of this – today I needed to take blog photo’s and because my list has gotten so long I am not looking forward to doing it so I used the excuse of needing to catch up on my phone so I didn’t have to do it – I didn’t do it intentionally either, it just keeps happening because it’s a habit. I need to teach myself to turn that around and stop procrastinating now so I can get more stuff done.

Have ‘me’ time
I’m sure you’ve all heard me mention before that I’ve been very busy lately, even busier than usual too, we’ve got a lot of ‘life’ things going on atm, which isn’t leaving me with much time to myself. Don’t get me wrong, I do treat myself of course, but sometimes I can go days without even sitting down for a breather. So when I was thinking about the daily habits that I want to start including in my life, one of the first on the list was ‘look after me’. I know how important it is to look after yourself so I need to pick this habit up soon.

Snack less
Since being busy, constantly, I have definitely not been eating right, it’s no excuse, but I genuinely don’t have the time. I’ve gotten really bad at preparing myself proper food and I’ve been snacking way too much. I always have tea, because I cook for the family each night, but during the day, when I’ve got no one to cook for but myself, I just don’t do it. I’m going to start by finding some nice, quick recipes that I know I’ll be able to make the time for.

    I have a few habits I wish I could drop! haha!
    You’ve picked some really good ones, especially exercise, I couldn’t think of anything worse than exercising, I am so unfit! haha!

      I have quite a few I wish I could drop too haha! I have a really bad habit of biting my lip at the moment and I make a right mess of them!
