The Body Shop Haul
When The Body Shop kept popping up in my inbox tempting me with £25 off a £50 spend, I eventually just had to give in and I then proceeded to spend over an hour searching through endless products trying to decide which products I wanted the most without accidentally buying the whole shop. It took me a while but I finally managed to get my basket down to 7 items so I thought, since I hardly ever do, that I best share what I got.
Frosted Plum & Frosted Barrie’s Shower Gel’s
Obviously the first things that ended up in my basket was the Frosted Plum & Frosted Barrie’s Shower Gels, I’ve been wanting the shower gels in their Christmas ranges forever but could never convince myself that I really needed them because I already own a lot of Christmas scented bath products, but when it come down to finally making an order I just couldn’t say no. I’d not smelt either before my order arrived yesterday morning so I was a little wary but there was absolutely no need because they both smell insane and sooo perfect for Christmas.
Satsuma Shower Gel
I could have easily spent the whole of the £50 just on shower gel if there wasn’t so many other things that I wanted to try, but I was sensible and only treat myself to three, one being the beautiful Satsuma Shower Gel which I am seriously addicted to. I already have a bottle of this, but I’m just about to run out and I needed more before I did because the scent is unreal. The quality of the product is also amazing, if you’ve never tried The Body Shop shower gels before then you really, really need to.
Satsuma Body Polish
Because I adore the scent of the shower gel so much, I of course had to get the Body Polish from the range too. Scrubs are definitely my favourite skin care product, nothing makes your skin feel as clean and as soft as a scrub does and it’s even more perfect when it smells like satsuma’s. I’ve not tried it properly yet, but I did test it on my hands, because I just couldn’t wait, and I already know this is going to make my skin feel amazing. It seems like it’s going to be quite gentle too, which I always love from a scrub.
Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet
The grapefruit range at The Body Shop is by far my favourite range, but I had no idea that they did a body sorbet until I was placing my order, and I just had to try it. Normally though, when I’m not going crazy at £25 off a £50 spend, I wouldn’t even bother to waste my money on a moisturiser because I always either forget that I have them or I just can’t be bothered to apply them/wait for them to dry. But because I’ve heard so many people talking about how amazing sorbets are, I couldn’t resist. Again I’ve not properly tried it, but so far so good, it feels lighter and it seems to dry faster so now I’m just hoping I always remember to use it because it does smell bloody good.
Hemp Hand Protector
This is another product that I knew I was definitely going to be ordering after seeing it absolutely everywhere, but I didn’t actually buy it just for myself, see my partners a plater, so his hands are always a bit of dry, we’ve tried alsorts to help but not much makes a difference, so I’m hoping that this will at least stop his hands from getting any worse, and I will obviously be stealing it for the most of winter since my hands get quite dry too. The only thing I don’t really like about it so far is the smell, I don’t particularly like anything that has a minty smell to it, but it’s not too strong so it’s not actually that bad, I’ve only used it a couple of times so hopefully I’ll get used to it.
Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Hair Scrub
This was definitely an impulse buy just because I couldn’t make my mind up on anything else and I really needed to just hurry up and place the order, but I was very wary as to whether I’d made the right choice or not because I was so scared I wasn’t going to like the smell, and it would be stuck in my hair for days, but I was completely won over by the fact that it’s a hair scrub and I’ve never tried one before. It turns out I don’t love the smell, like I already mentioned, mints not really a favourite of mine and I wasn’t expecting to love it, but I think I’ll be able to cope because it’s not an awful smell really. Plus I don’t care all that much because I’m too excited to find out how well it works t and I’m actually really happy that I got it.
