Happy New Year everyone! I hope you’re not all feeling too hungover today. I’m actually in a really, really good mood because I am so happy that it’s now the start of a new year, I’ve got so much planned for 2018 and I really cannot wait to get on with it. But for now, let’s just stick to January’s to do list.
Make a start on re-designing my blog.
I’ve been wanting to re-design my blog for months now, I went off my theme ages ago but I didn’t want to start messing at such a busy time of the year, but now that it’s January, everything’s going to calm down a bit and I’ll hopefully get chance to make a start on finding a new theme and so on. I am so excited!
Also make a start on opening the shop on my blog
As well as re-designing my blog, I’m also going to open Jessica Jade Designs on here too! I’ve got loads of things that I plan to sell that I’ve been planning over the last few months and I can’t wait to share it all with you, it’s definitely been hard, even harder to keep it to myself, but hopefully, once the blogs re-designed, you’ll all get to find out what everything is!
Go on a shopping spree in the January sales
I literally live for the January sales, I’ve already put a date in my diary for a weekend full of sale shopping and I am seriously looking forward to it. I’ll definitely be heading to New Look and River Island because their sales are always amazing and I always managed to find myself quite a few bargains. I went wild on Boxing Day so I shouldn’t really be planning another shopping spree but I just cannot help myself when it comes to the sales.
Reorganise my room, and the spare room again..
This happens every single year, but I will never get used to it. I absolutely dread sorting out those two rooms, but because of all the Christmas presents that me and Stuart got, it needs to be done. We had a good clean last week, but there’s still quite a lot all over the spare bed and every time I see it I want to scream so the quicker I sort it the better but I am not prepared for it at all, so wish me luck.
Eat a little healthier.
I definitely over indulged last month and I am feeling it now and so is my poor skin, so I need to do something about it. I’m not going to try sticking to a diet, because I am unbelievably useless at that, so instead I’m just going to try eating a bit healthier and have no naughty snacks this month at all. I mean, once this weeks over because it’s going to be way too hard, we still have all the chocolates and so on left, and I had a huge New Years dinner earlier with gateau for afters, but once that’s all gone then I am done for a while and hopefully I’ll not feel like I’ve just ate a full box of chocolates all the time.
