I know I say I’m obsessed with a lot of things, and I genuinely am, but body scrubs, for me, are on a whole other level. I own quite an impressive collection and I use them religiously, but I do obviously have my favourites. I currently have three that I keep switching between, and because they’re so brilliant, I thought I’d share them with you.
Lush Rub Rub Rub, Shower Scrub
This has been a firm favourite of mine for quite a few years now, and every time I’ve ran out, I’m made sure to buy myself some more because it’s perfect for those days when your skin needs that extra care. It’s very oily, and even though it say’s it’s for your hair too, I wouldn’t even dare try it, but that’s the thing I love about it. As soon as you’re rubbing it in to your skin you can feel a difference and once you’ve rinsed the salt off, the lemon oil stays on your skin and soaks in beautifully leaving your skin feeling absolutely amazing. Have you ever had a salt scrub at a beauty salon? Well this is that in a tub.
Satsuma Body Polish
Seen as though The Body Shop is my go-to for anything bath/shower related, I of course had to share one of their scrubs. My current favourite is of course the Satsuma Body Polish that I picked up just before Christmas and I’ve used it so much since. It smells absolutely incredible and it makes your skin feel amazing. It’s quite a lot softer than I expected, it’s definitely not a thick type scrub so it’s perfect for anyone with sensitive skin.
Avon Creamy Yogurt Scrub
I had to include this one mainly because of the gorgeous scent, but don’t worry it’s also a very good scrub. It’s one I always use when I’m getting ready to go out because the amazing berry scent literally clings to your skin and leaves you smelling amazing all night. It cleanses beautifully too, leaving you feeling clean and fresh and so, so soft. It does feel a bit rough compared to the other two, but it’s not too bad, and the milkyness of the product itself definitely eases the harshness of the grains. I have quite sensitive skin and I haven’t had a problem with it at all.
